You can join a Hostel Chat if you made a booking via Hostelworld.com. To access Chat, get the Hostelworld app and click 'Chat.' 

Users who book with Hostelworld will have a QR code on their booking in their MyTrips in the App that they can share with others (who didn't booking via the platform) to help them join the hostel chat.
