To change a booking in the Hostelworld system you need to cancel the booking, and make a new booking for your new details. Please take note of the cancellation policy on the original booking.

Changes can also be made directly with the hostel, however these changes will not be reflected in your Hostelworld account and are at the discretion of the hostel.

Changing a Free Cancellation Booking

• Cancel your booking and rebook for your new dates/room types/number of guests.  Your original deposit will be refunded back to you once you cancel in accordance with the cancellation policy.

Changing a Standard Flexible Booking

• Cancel your booking and rebook for your new dates/room types/number of guests.  Your original deposit will be added as a voucher back to your Hostelworld account once you cancel on time which you can use towards your new booking.

For all other booking types

• Contact the hostel directly to check if they can change the booking for you.  Contact details will be on your confirmation email.
